Delete Folders delete "Conversation Action Settings" & "Quick Step Settings"
Hi all
I have installed Exchange 2007 SP1.
I have a problem when trying to configure an
IMAP account, giving me the following error:
Connection is closed. 15
Protocol: IMAP
Server: XX.XX.XX.XX
Port: 143
Error Code: 0x800CCCDD
He released the following command in
Exchange shell for the account that
I have problems:
Get-MailboxFolderStatistics UserA | FL
Name
I have seen that I have two duplicate
folders are:
Conversation Action Settings Settings &
Quick Step Settings
I have OWA connected to the account, but I dont see
these folders. I also tested with the
software MFCMAPI, and I still dont see
these folders to delete.
I know the problem is IMAP connection
for the duplication of folders and
delete them no longer.
As you can delete these folders, in a system
based on Exchange 2007 SP1?
Thank you very much.

Hmmm you're not seeing the folders using mfcmapi? I would try moving his mailbox to another DB then.James Chong MCITP | EA | EMA; MCSE | M+, S+ Security+, Project+, ITIL msexchangetips.blogspot.com

Thanks for answering guys
I tried to move the mailbox to another
DB and I still have the same problem.
Sukh828, had also checked
the link, and I can not take
place in OWA 2007, and you do not see
the option to Manage Folders.
Any other suggestions? From there
MFCMAPI search options? To
find these folders. I do not see on any side, and this
makes it difficult to work.
Thank you very much.

I have never seen it where a folder did not show up using mfcmapi. If we take your word for it and it is not showing up, than your best bet is to probably just export his mailbox to pst and create him a new mailbox. It'll likely be faster than trying to
troubleshoot the mysterious hidden folder.James Chong MCITP | EA | EMA; MCSE | M+, S+ Security+, Project+, ITIL msexchangetips.blogspot.com

Hi guys,
Finally I could solve the problem.
From MCFMAPI did not see the folders,
as I had configured the account in Outlook
via IMAP. Configure the account in
Outlook via MAPI and then
could see the duplicate folders and delete them.
Once deleted, and returned to work
via IMAP.
Many thanks for your help.
